Great news, we’re reducing our electricity prices by an average reduction of 10.28%!

BES Utilities is delighted to be bucking the national trend by lowering prices for customers on our electricity market tracker product. Due to a recent drop in wholesale energy costs, we’re pleased to be able to pass on an average reduction of 10.28% to the majority of our electricity customers. In some cases, depending on the customer’s location and meter type, the reduction is as high as 11.91%.

We review the costs we incur for customers on our market tracker product every April and October, and the price they pay will then remain the same, rise or – as at this review point – fall, depending what is happening in the wider energy market.

Andy Pilley, Managing Director, said: “We are delighted that we are able to pass on a reduction to our customers at a time when energy prices across the industry are generally on the increase. The nature of our market tracker product means that businesses who have chosen this type of contract are always paying a price which reflects the costs we incur, and we hope this news will be welcomed by our valued customers.”

We’re in the process of contacting all affected customers to let them know the good news.

The reduction will take effect from the April 2019 invoice and will benefit customers who have received one or more monthly invoice since joining BES.

For customers who prefer price certainty for the lifetime of their contract, we also offer fixed-price contracts between 1 – 3 years in length. To find out more about the range of products on offer and how switching to BES can save your business money, click here to request a call-back.
