BES Utilities announces electrifying price reduction!

We have today announced our current intention to cut prices for electricity customers by a massive 7%!

Unlike many of the larger energy suppliers, we offer our electricity customers a market tracker product, which regularly monitors wholesale and other costs, to keep prices as competitive as possible. Price reviews take place every six months, the next one being due in early April 2015, and we are confident that we will be able to reduce our electricity prices by 7% at that point.

Responding to the recent drop in wholesale energy costs, Managing Director, Andy Pilley, said:
“We keep a close eye on wholesale and other costs and we’re delighted to be faced with the prospect of passing on these reductions to our loyal customers, especially at a time when many small businesses continue to struggle with the economic downturn”.

“As a smaller, independent supplier, we can respond very quickly to price changes in the market and this is just another example of how we continue to take the fight to the big 6 companies”.

“Our market tracker product means we review our costs, including wholesale energy, network and other charges, twice per year, and adjust our prices where necessary. This means we can keep prices as low as possible for our business customers at a time when they need it most. Our electricity prices have not increased since April 2013 and we’re extremely confident that we will be able to cut our prices in April.”

To qualify for the price reduction, customers must be supplied by BES for electricity by 1st March this year. For more information or to request a free quote, please visit our Get a Quote page
